Nuki Universal Cylinder

Developed as a modular solution, the Nuki Universal Cylinder is easy and straightforward to lengthen or shorten to the right size. This means there are 33 possible cylinder dimensions that make the Nuki Universal Cylinder compatible with almost every door in Europe.

This Euro profile cylinder corresponds to the highest possible security class SKG***. In other words, the Nuki Universal Cylinder offers maximum protection against break-ins and manipulation. Thanks to the built-in emergency function, the door can still be locked from the outside with the key after the Nuki Smart Lock has been installed on the door from the inside.

5 keys are included with delivery. Additional keys can be ordered with the enclosed security card.

Installation

The Nuki Universal Cylinder is designed as a modular solution. This means it is compatible with common cylinder dimensions and can be adapted to suit your particular door.

How do I change my cylinder lock?

1. Open your door: You now have a clear view of the latch and the deadbolt that locks the door. There is a retaining screw under the deadbolt that holds the cylinder in the mortise lock in place. Loosen the screw, but don’t fully remove it yet.
2. Now insert the key into the existing lock. Turn the key slightly clockwise to about 1 o’clock. Completely remove the retaining screw. Now you can pull out the cylinder with the inserted key.

4. Now reinsert the retaining screw under the deadbolt and screw it tight.
5. And just like that – everything is ready for you to install your new Nuki Smart Lock.
