AQARA Camera Hub G5 Pro is an outdoor/indoor camera with True Color Night Vision, that pushes the image quality and local recognition to the limits.
Camera Hub G5 Pro features True Color Night Vision for authentic colors, enhanced image quality, and local face and object recognition. It expands smart home capabilities with an integrated hub and is available in Power over Ethernet and Wi-Fi versions, providing end-to-end encryption. It is compatible with HomeKit Secure Video, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Matter.

To use the device within the Matter ecosystem, you need to have the appropriate Matter driver installed. The 8GB model allows for 6-7 hours of recording, while the 32GB version can handle 24-28 hours of recording using event recording mode.

The PoE version does not include Wi-Fi and requires an Ethernet cable connection.

The first Aqara camera for both outdoor and indoor use with integrated Zigbee hubs and Thread Border Router - G5 Pro functions as a Matter Controller, Matter Bridge and network extender, increasing compatibility with Aqara and Matter devices from other manufacturers and enabling local automation and integration with ecosystems such as Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home. Local 7-in-1 Visual AI and 4-in-1 Audio AI - Built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) allows for the simultaneous use of two different AI detection settings.
Visual Detection - G5 identifies faces, vehicles, human movement and presence in the surrounding area. The device also detects animals, obstacles and packages, thus increasing the protection of shipments. Sound Detection - The camera captures sounds (e.g. baby crying, alarm clock, barking, coughing) and triggers automations even offline, thus increasing the intelligence of the smart home. Premium Full Color Night Vision - G5 has a new generation True Color Night Vision system with a 1/1.8” graphene-cooled sensor, which guarantees a sharp image in high resolution even in low light.
The G5 significantly improves image quality - it offers 4 Mpx 2.6K (1520p) resolution, a wide 133° field of view and an f/1.0 aperture that captures up to 4x more light than f/2.0, ensuring high image clarity and extended dynamic range. The built-in spotlight allows for lighting automation to deter potential thieves. Focus on privacy and security - the G5 is the first TCNV camera compatible with Apple HomeKit Secure Video. It is equipped with encrypted eMMC storage, which can be backed up to NAS or Aqara and Apple cloud services. As the first Aqara camera, it offers End-to-End encryption, so clips are only accessible to you and your family.
PoE version - G5 Pro (PoE) has an RJ45 Ethernet port, which provides data transfer and power, or increases the stability and range of the connection. It is intended for users using PoE infrastructure in monitoring systems. In addition, the device is also equipped with a 5V2A USB-C port for operation without PoE. Resistance in extreme cold - G5 is IP65 certified, which guarantees protection against water and dust, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use at temperatures down to -30 °C (-22 °F), ensuring home protection even in the harshest winters.
RTSP - G5 streams over RTSP for stable LAN connection with third-party apps, including Home Assistant. It is compatible with RTSP video servers and devices, supporting streaming to Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Home Assistant.
Various installation options - A rotating stand is included, which allows for fixed mounting with screws on walls or ceilings, or simply placing it on a table. It can be replaced with any standard screw with a 1/4-inch thread.
Speaker - G5 includes a built-in 100 dB speaker that supports custom ringtones and serves as a loud siren or for two-way communication. *100 dB volume is measured at a distance of 10 cm.
Linking events in automation - All Aqara sensors can be marked on the video timeline, making it easier to filter out a specific event.
Extended Time Lapse - Allows you to record extremely long time-lapse videos to help track changes in your environment or simply monitor events over time.
Privacy Protection - You will be able to delete selected parts of the recording, increasing your privacy.
Theft Protection - If you try to link the camera to another account, access is automatically blocked and you are immediately notified. However, the camera can still be added to Apple Home even if it is stolen.
